I just want to enjoy a beer and not be in a bar where the ave age is about that of my kids. Well you didn't say how old the teenage kids are, so I'll try to give just a general idea, out the Hanwell rd, there's Kingsplace.
It has a gym, gymnastics, bowling, lazer tag, tanning, somewhat of an arcade, a playclimber (but I think that's for like under 9) and an ice rink.
not really good for right now, but nice when summer comes I forgot to mention there's also the twenty (it is a bar)..further on regent beside sobey's & friday & saturday nights are always best for pretty much anywhere in town. One of my repeat excursions in freddy is in the courtyard thingie (not sure but thinking Queen Street?
Sweetwaters downtown is another bar but it caters more to the I just turned "19 look how much I can drink" crowd. ) It might be called the Jesters Court but it's upstairs with a roof patio and has MANY microbrews on tap. It's conveniently located right next to a great greek restaurant called Dimitri's I believe. My buddy plays celtic music there quite often and he is GOOD.
They even have a vegetarian & vegan menu, but great fish & chips too. I'd strongly recommend reservations on the weekends. Here's where you can meet singles in Fredericton, New Brunswick. There are thousands of active singles on Date looking to chat right now.My kids are not here yet and I am just l am just looking for a nice place to wet my whistle and perhaps grab some "pub" food on the occassional evening. My kids are 16 and 10, so perhaps I will try out that Kingsplace when they get here.
